Dr. Masoumeh Bavadi on Receiving the Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies Distinction

The Northern Region Persistent Organic Pollution Control (NRPOP) Laboratory proudly congratulates Dr. Masoumeh Bavadi on being awarded the title of Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

The distinction of Fellow of the School of Graduate Studies is awarded in recognition of outstanding academic achievement throughout a graduate program. This prestigious honour may only be awarded once during the final year of a student’s graduate studies program, and the distinction is formally recorded on the student’s official Memorial University transcript.

According to the official letter issued by the School of Graduate Studies on May 14, 2026 (Spring 2026), the award recognizes Masoumeh Bavadi’s “continued academic excellence throughout her program.”

Masoumeh’s achievement reflects her dedication to graduate research, scholarly excellence, and continued contributions to the academic and research community. The NRPOP Lab extends its sincere congratulations and wishes her continued success in her future academic and professional endeavours.
