His research focuses broadly on environmental contaminants in Arctic and permafrost regions, data-driven approaches to environmental and chemical processes, and the biological effects of pollutants. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, including over 10 papers in leading journals such as Environmental Science &amp; Technology, Water Research, and Journal of Hazardous Materials. He has also collaborated with the Canadian Light Source for over five years on synchrotron-based environmental research.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Academic Achievement Content<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>1. Over 24 peer-reviewed international journal publications, including 8 first (co-first) authors; 8 papers published in the top journals in the field (8 of 22), such as Environ. Sci. Technol., Water Res., J. Hazard. Mater., and Appl. Environ. Microbiol.<\/p>\n<p>2. Over 12 presentations at international conferences. Profound teaching experience for undergraduate and graduate courses (CEQ rating: 4.5\/5.0) and extensive HQP (over 10 HQP) training experience in environmental science and engineering<\/p>\n<p>3. Participation in over 10 multiple levels (international, national, provincial, and industrial) projects (e.g., UNDP, MPRI, NSERC; over $5 million), and over 25 proposal writings (successful grants: over $3 million)<\/p>\n<p>4.
