Ph.D Student<\/span><\/p>\n

Tingyi Wei is a PhD student at Memorial University of Newfoundland under the supervision of Professor Bing Chen, working at the intersection of environmental engineering and hydrological modelling. Her research investigates the fate, transport, and transformation of emerging contaminants under changing environmental conditions, with a particular emphasis on Arctic and other cold-region environments. By applying transfer learning and graph neural networks, she aims to develop modelling frameworks that improve the accuracy and generalisability of predictions of contaminant behaviour across heterogeneous and data-limited environmental systems. She holds an MSc in Hydrology and Water Resources Management from Imperial College London.<\/span><\/p>\n
