Welcome new graduate students and welcome back to our returning graduate students for the Fall 2019 semester! We are very excited to be resuming the graduate student blog for the 2019-2020 academic year.<\/p>\n

This year we have 10 graduate students who will be blogging about their first-hand experiences in graduate studies. Follow their journey throughout the first year of their program and beyond, and get an inside look at graduate life at Memorial.<\/p>\n

Let’s introduce our returning graduate student bloggers:<\/p>\n

Juliana Vidal is from Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil and is completing a PhD Chemistry. Juliana is returning to our blogging team for the third consecutive year.<\/p>\n

Shannon Pearson is from Conestogo, Ontario, Canada and is completing Master of Arts in Sociology. Shannon is joining us as a second year blogger for our team.<\/p>\n

Christina Prokopenko is from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and is completing a PhD in Biology. Christina joined our team last year and will be continuing to blog for her second year.<\/p>\n

Ivan Carlson is from Tivoli, New York, USA and is completing a Master\u2019s degree in Archaeology. Ivan became part of our blogging team last spring and will continue to write for the upcoming academic year.<\/p>\n
