One cold day, I boarded the wrong bus. Frustrated but determined, I asked questions, figured out the map, and found my way home. That lesson taught me resilience: the importance of breaking through even when the road gets tough.

Did I mention that it is okay to be tired? But you must pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and hop on the next bus to success.

Later, during my summer internship search in aquaculture, I faced rejection after rejection. Opportunities seemed limited to areas outside St. John’s, but I was adamant about staying here. Days turned into weeks, and despite the setbacks, I kept trying. Eventually, I received not one but two offers—both in St. John’s.
