Hongjie Wang obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Material Chemistry from the Nanjing University of Post and Telecommunications, Jiangsu, China in 2019. He is now pursuing her Master’s Degree in Environmental Statistics, supervised by Dr. Baiyu Zhang in NRPOP Lab, Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Hongjie’s research interests are the applications of switchable bio-materials for wastewater treatment. Furthermore, he focuses on switchable bio-materials recycling and developing a simple recovery process for oil spills.
Hongjie is passionate about scientific research and can acquire knowledge in a short period of time through self-study.
