We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Min Yang has been selected to participate in the 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, dedicated to Chemistry, to be held in 2025 in Lindau, Germany. She was nominated by the Global Young Academy and has been invited to present during the meeting — a remarkable recognition of her outstanding scientific contributions.
Since its inception in 1951, the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings have been a prestigious forum where Nobel Laureates engage in in-depth discussions with selected young scientists from around the world. The 2025 meeting will bring together 30–40 Nobel Laureates and over 600 young researchers from more than 100 countries to foster cross-generational scientific dialogue and collaboration.
Held annually and rotating among the Nobel Prize disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, and Physiology or Medicine, the Lindau Meetings aim to “Educate. Inspire. Connect.” Through lectures, panel discussions, and intimate roundtables, young scientists get the rare opportunity to interact directly with Nobel Laureates in a non-political, purely academic setting.
Each year, candidates are nominated by more than 200 academic partner institutions worldwide and undergo a rigorous multi-stage selection process. All travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the Lindau Foundation.
Dr. Yang’s selection is both a great personal honor and a testament to the rising impact of early-career researchers in the global scientific community. We look forward to her participation and valuable insights in Lindau next year!
