Ms. Zhiwen Zhu successfully passed her Ph.D. dissertation defense

On the morning of November 26, 2018, Ms. Zhiwen Zhu successfully passed her Ph.D. dissertation defense. Her thesis title is “Advancement of Biosurfactant Production and Biosurfactant-Aided Pollution Remediation.” Her profound knowledge and excellent presentation helped her win the pass with distinction from the examiners, Drs. Xiaosheng Qin (Nanyang Technology University), Yuming Zhao and Yan Zhang. Drs. Helen Zhang, Bing Chen, Tahir Husain and Kenneth Lee (Fisheries and Oceans Canada) attended the oral defense as members of the supervisory committee.
