M.Sc. Student (from Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway)
Vilde obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Chemistry from the University of Stavanger, Norway, in 2024, where she specialized in analytical environmental chemistry. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Chemistry at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), now in her second year.
In June 2025, Vilde joined the NRPOP Laboratory at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada, as a visiting student to conduct research for her master’s thesis. Her visit is co-supervised by Dr. Bing Chen in the NRPOP Lab.
Vilde’s research interests include environmental analytical chemistry, emerging contaminants, and Arctic pollution. Her current work focuses on the identification and assessment of PFAS in Arctic environments.
