Welcome Visiting Scholars Ms. Shuang Liu and Mr. Xinping Wang to Visit NRPOP Lab

Two visiting scholars, Ms. Shuang Liu and Mr. Xinping Wang, arrived in St. John’s to start their 2-month visit. They both serve as senior scientists in North China Sea Environment Monitoring Center, which affiliates to the State Oceanic Administration of China.
Ms. Shuang Liu focuses on extensive expertise in marine environmental monitoring and has over 15 years of working experience in the field. As a front-line engineer, she participated in the long-term environmental monitoring of 2 major oil spill accidences in China.
Mr. Xinping Wang has been working on oil fingerprint identification and oil behavior research since 2002, and also served as a senior consultant in the oil spill fingerprint identification area since then.
Ms. Liu and Mr. Wang will conduct a series of experiments while cooperating with other members in our lab. It is our honor to have them as our guests.
