St. John’s, NL – The Northern Region Persistent Organic Pollution Control (NRPOP) Laboratory is proud to announce it has secured a significant federal grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s (NSERC) Research Tools and Instruments (NSERC-RTI) program.
This grant, amounting to $145,661, will immensely support the construction of the Multi-Functional Wave Tank Platform for Marine Oil Pollution and Spill Response Research and Training (Wave-POL) project. This initiative represents a critical step in enhancing marine environmental protection and spill response capabilities.
NRPOP Lab expresses our deepest gratitude to NSERC-RTI for their support and forward to a fruitful collaboration that promises to advance research and training in environmental and marine spill response disciplines.
